Sand Cat and a Prayer!

"This experience might be more about prayer than nature, but it was memorable. On Monday of this week, Dad and I went to the zoo while in Salt Lake City. While looking at the Sand Cat--the size of a domestic cat--I read about it's unique paws. They were furry on the bottom, and allow the cat to walk along the hot sand without burning the pads of its feet. It also allows the cat to not leave footprints in the sand. I really wanted to see the underside of the cat's paws, but it was sleeping. For some reason I felt comfortable asking Heavenly Father in a prayer as I was standing there, to please show me the cat's paws. I watched intently, knowing He could do it if he wanted. Within just a few seconds, the cat moved, lifted up his paw and acted as though he would step into a nearby enclosure; but then went back into his resting position. I saw what I was hoping for! And I knew exactly why. This experience confirms what has happened before, that God always hears us when we pray; and that once-in-a-while the answer is just what we want, and immediate."
